LimX Dynamics Secures $200M Series B to Advance Humanoid Robotics

LimX Dynamics, a Shenzhen-based humanoid robotics developer founded in 2022, has successfully raised $200 million in Series B funding to accelerate its research and development efforts and expand its market presence both domestically and globally.

Key Developments and Technologies

The company is developing full-size humanoid robots and embodied AI with a mission to bring artificial general intelligence (AGI) into the physical world. LimX’s technology is built on three core pillars: robot hardware design and manufacturing, motion-control foundation models, and a physical-world-native agentic operating system.

Two of LimX’s flagship products have garnered significant industry attention:

  • TRON 2: A multi-modal platform with modular architecture that can reconfigure its limbs as either manipulator arms or legs for walking. This unified design enables adaptation to different applications without hardware customization.
  • LimX COSA: An agentic operating system specifically designed for robotic autonomy in the physical world. COSA combines high-level reasoning with whole-body motion control, allowing robots like LimX’s Oli humanoid to interpret instructions, perceive surroundings, plan actions, and adjust behaviors in real time.

Investment Landscape

The Series B round attracted both Chinese and international investors, including Stone Venture, JD, Oriental Fortune Capital, CoStone Capital, Shangqi Capital, NIO Capital, and Future Capital, among others. This latest funding follows LimX’s previous raise of approximately $72 million.

LimX’s funding is part of a broader trend of significant investment in humanoid robotics companies over the past year:

  • Skild AI: $1.4 billion (January 2026)
  • Figure AI: $1 billion Series C
  • Physical Intelligence: $600 million Series B
  • Galaxy Bot: $453 million Series A
  • Apptronik: $403 million Series A
  • Agility Robotics: $400 million
  • Leju Robotics: $200 million
  • Neura Robotics: $123 million Series B
  • Fourier Intelligence: $109 million Series E

Market Context

Despite the significant investments, the humanoid robot market remains in its early stages. According to reports, only 13,317 humanoid robots shipped in 2025, with Agibot and Unitree identified as current market leaders. Additionally, Mobileye recently announced plans to acquire Mentee Robotics for $900 million, further highlighting industry consolidation and strategic positioning.

Future Direction

LimX Dynamics emphasizes its commitment to original innovation grounded in product development and a customer-first approach. The company aims to advance real-world validation and deployment of robots through partnerships worldwide, with a focus on ensuring that technological progress ultimately serves people rather than processes.
